We loved transforming Bruce Design & Build’s Hill Street project with an innovative design and a sustainable solution that looks exceptional. Managing a steep slope requires a precise balance of structural engineering and creative landscaping vision. This site includes natural boulder retaining walls to secure the hillside, paired with a custom stepped timber feature wall that flows cleanly along the aggregate driveway.

The entire property has been engineered to maximize usable space while complementing the modern architecture of the home. On the lower tiers, we established low maintenance native planting layouts and clear aggregate pathways, including a sheltered internal courtyard featuring lush tree ferns. Up top, the living space expands onto a premium timber deck with integrated structural planter boxes, delivering a highly functional outdoor area built to withstand the elements while framing the expansive local views.
